Claim your profileWith an unwavering passion for the retirement industry and a commitment to empowering its professionals, I have dedicated my career to creating platforms that facilitate learning and growth. I am the Founder and CEO of The Retirement Advisor University (TRAU), The Plan Sponsor University (TPSU), and 401kTV. These are not just institutions but collaborations with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education that aim to deliver top-tier knowledge to our members. My career in the financial services industry started with my involvement in the founding of the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), an organization created by retirement plan advisors, for retirement plan advisors. As a member of the founding Leadership Board, Chair of the Membership Committee, and founding Editor-in-Chief for NAPA-Net, I had the privilege of helping shape an advocacy group solely focused on the issues that matter to retirement plan advisors. Additionally, as a Contributing Editor for InvestmentNews, I have had the opportunity to establish RPAConvergence and the RPA Roundtables & Thinktanks. These platforms have fostered significant conversations and exchanges of ideas among senior managers at DC record keepers, aggregators, broker dealers, and CIOs. Beyond creating platforms, I have been privileged to share my insights at retirement industry conferences, both nationally and internationally. The knowledge and experience I have gained throughout this journey have been acknowledged, with the honor of being named among 401kWire’s “Most Influential People in the 401(k) Industry” in 2012. My academic background includes a BA in History from Boston College and a JD from Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University. This foundation, combined with my experiences, inspires me to continue striving to make a significant impact in the retirement industry. I am always open to connect with like-minded professionals who share my passion for this field.
