Claim your profileI am a passionate and driven journalist who loves feature writing. I have experience in reporting, writing, editing and interviewing.I am currently working full-time at the Daily Hampshire Gazette, where I cover Division I college basketball and football (UMass) and local high school sports. Over the course of my young career, I have interned at The Greenfield Recorder and MassLive.com, where I covered a plethora of high school sports, wrote feature stories and wrote game stories on tight deadlines. I was also the Editor-in-Chief of The Springfield Student newspaper at Springfield College prior to my graduation in 2023.I specifically enjoy feature writing because it allows for peoples' unique stories to be told to a wide audience, and it gives them a platform to be heard. I also enjoy the connections that are built during the process of constructing a feature.My goal in this field is to continue to search for those gripping, compelling stories that fall through the cracks and do everything in my power to make sure they get told.
