Claim your profileI'm a journalist on the Money desk at The Times and The Sunday Times, covering consumer finance, banking, credit cards, fraud, savings, and, especially recently, mortgages. I break news, and write features, analysis and human interest stories. I started my career as a freelancer at the financial website This is Money in 2018, where I spent two-and-a-half years as a full-time reporter from 2019. I was promoted to a senior reporter in early 2021, before joining The Times and The Sunday Times later that year. I've also experience editing and producing podcasts, with one podcast I launched and produced, Confessions with Giles Fraser, for the website UnHerd, being named podcast of the week in both The Times and The Guardian. It was also named podcast of the month by Prospect Magazine. I'm far too interested in minor movements in the savings market and anything that fits nicely into a spreadsheet. I also like cricket, the NFL, reading, eating, skiing, and losing at squash.
