Claim your profileGodfrey Deeny is an international fashion critic who covers the runway shows of London, Milan, Paris and New York, and is regularly a front-row reviewer at the fashion seasons of Beijing, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Moscow, Rome and Sydney. In February 2017, he was appointed the inaugural International Editor-in-Chief of Fashion Network.com, the multilingual fashion news platform. Prior to that, he was for five years Fashion Editor at Large for Le Figaro, for whom he will reviewed all the major ready-to-wear and haute couture collections; as well as writing the Paris daily's key features on top international designers. In a two-decade career, Godfrey has also held the following senior positions: Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Hommes, the men’s Vogue of France; Paris Bureau Chief of industry bible Women’s Wear Daily and luxury magazine W; Dow Jones Milan correspondent; European Editor of Fashion Wire Daily and men’s fashion critic of The Financial Times. Fluent in English, French and Italian, Godfrey is a lecturer in Moscow State University’s graduate business school and the Paris Fashion Institute. He is also a jury member of the following prizes: the LVMH Prize; the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), the Oscars of fashion; and in Rome of Who is on Next, Italy’s leading award for young design talent, created by Italian Vogue Editor-in-Chief Franca Sozzani. He is the Editor-in-Chief and joint owner of both Achtung, German’s leading directional fashion magazine, and Sepp, the original football fashion magazine, produced every two years for The World Cup and The European Championships. Specialties: Experienced brand image consultant; a noted guest speaker and lecturer on fashion, style and luxury history; a skilled editor of custom publishing magazines for the likes of Giorgio Armani and H&M; a prolific writer for titles such as Vogue's editions in China, Taiwan, Australia and Brazil; Der Stern and Die Zeit and The Daily Telegraph.
