I'm a journalist at the BBC where I primarily write features for publication on weekends and aim to target underserved audiences. I started this role in September 2024 and am based at New Broadcasting House.Prior to this, I spent four years at Business Insider covering breaking US business news, including retail, transport and tech. I focused on fast food, the labour market and giving workers a voice.I graduated from Newcastle University in 2019 with a first class degree in German and Business, including a year spent in Germany. I was heavily involved in a range of extra-curricular activities, and became editor in chief of the university's weekly student newspaper, the Courier. I managed a team of 50 sub-editors and over 100 writers and was in charge of the print layup and distribution, website, training and social media.In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, swimming, cooking and visiting museums and galleries.
