Claim your profileI began working for a small cable news operation right out of college. After 6 months, I applied for a job with a new 24hr regional cable news network (NWCN). A month later I found myself working in Boise shooting my own stories and learning to edit. After one year to the day I moved up to the Portland bureau working out of the NBC affiliate and our sister station KGW. I spent two years in Portland shooting and editing my own stories. In the biz that's what we call a one-man-band. My title was Videojournalist. After a promotion, I moved to Seattle to work out of the KING building; the headquarters for NWCN. I spent another year or so as a videojournalist before doing some fill-in weekend anchoring. After a year of that I earned the job and did that for two years while reporting the rest of the week. In January of 2005 I was promoted to morning anchor with Cam Johnson and we brought you NW news for 8 years. In late 2013 I was moved to KING5 to anchor weekend mornings and report on the morning show 3 days a week. After 10 years of mornings, I'm finally back on the nightside. You'll see me doing some NWCN 15/45 updates in the afternoon and the 7pm show, then I anchor an hour of news on KONG TV at 9pm. Specialties: Spelling, grammar, and web-searcher extraordinaire.
