Claim your profileHi y'all! My name is Jack Wallace, and I'm the Sports Director at 4 News Now (KXLY) in Spokane, WA. I graduated from Texas Christian University in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and Syracuse University in May 2022 in Broadcast and Digital Journalism with a Sports emphasis. I last worked as the weekend sports anchor/reporter for KVLY in Fargo, ND where I covered the North Dakota State Bison and North Dakota Fighting Hawks, in addition to local minor league teams in the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks baseball club and Fargo Force hockey club. I was fortunate to also cover some Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Timberwolves games, plus the 2022 FCS National Championship game, the 2022 and 2023 NCAA college hockey postseason, the 2022 Miles Wolff Cup finals (American Association), and the 2023 Clark Cup finals (USHL). I held an internship with Sports Illustrated through AllSyracuse, a Syracuse-focused blog. I was not only a beat writer for men’s basketball, but I also shot still photography for the football, men’s lacrosse and women’s lacrosse teams at Syracuse. I am a podcast co-producer and co-host for the Blanket Coverage Podcast hosted by GTD Sports. I formerly was a staff photographer and reporter for TCU360, TCU’s student newspaper. I held internships at FC Dallas and the North Texas Soccer Club in Frisco, TX in Summer 2019 as a gameday media assistant and photographer, respectively.
