Claim your profileJacopo Barigazzi is a journalist and startupper, with a strong track record in terms of scoops and analysis. In order to get a comprehensive and articulated view, he has written first about financial markets, in London and Milan for Cnbc Europe and Reuters, after an internship at the Financial Times. Then about Italian politics, in Milan and Rome for Newsweek. And later on European politics, in Brussels for POLITICO Europe. He holds an MA with honor in philosophy from Milan University and studied journalism at London’s City University. Son of a journalist instead of using family connections to get a job in Italy he decided to test himself in London where no one knew his father and without speaking the language. He has shown strong analytical skills but also capacity to access intel and sources as many of his exclusive stories and investigations have shown. In Brussels he covers mainly migration and defence/foreign policy as well as Italian politics. Startupper, he has set up (with a couple of friends) the award winning online newspaper Linkiesta.
