As a reporter for many years, and an editor now, I've researched dozens of markets and industries; interviewed hundreds (thousands) of people across the social spectrum, from average Joe to heads of states and companies; and, eventually, got to learn and report on the nitty-gritty of the global economy and the world we live in. After 16 years in journalism, I'm still curious as the first day I stepped into a newsroom, I still get an adrenaline rush when I come across a promising lead, and I still indulge in long nights at my desk to deliver the best copy on deadline (nobody is perfect I guess).
