I came into college in 2014 with an interest in journalism. I have since transitioned specifically to print and digital media with an emphasis on politics and local news. In general, I love to write, regardless of whether it is a news piece, feature or opinion. I hope to be a published author in fiction and non-fiction. I have managerial experience as an editor at two separate publications and have strong clips, which demonstrate my ability to report and write. I have also worked as a staff writer at two different newspapers. I also won an award from the Society of Professional Journalists when I was in college.
