Currently, I am the Executive Director of Renew Missouri, guiding and managing a group committed to renewable energy and energy efficiency. Prior to this, I served as Acting Director of the Office of Public Counsel. That office represents the public before the Public Service Commission when utility companies want to, among other things, raise customer rates. Previously, I worked in the Office of Administration's Commissioner's Office to help establish a Contract Oversight Office. I also manage a boutique law firm on the side, specializing in estate planning and administration. These positions are guided by my most recent experience as an Associate Circuit Judge in Webster County, Missouri. These experiences are fitting to the practice of law as well as any executive or managerial position.I also currently run the Owen Law Firm - primarily focusing on estate planning and probate issues and serve as an Associate Municipal Judge for the City of Columbia.
