I'm a Special Correspondent for Reuters specializing in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. A two-time Pulitzer finalist and multimedia specialist, I've worked as a reporter, editor, radio presenter and newsroom manager. Formerly Hong Kong Deputy Bureau Chief and Chief South China correspondent for Reuters, as well as a TV producer at CNBC Asia, my work has spanned politics, finance, business and tech. I helped lead a team of reporters for a series of investigative special reports, scoops and long features on the 2019 Hong Kong protests that was a Pulitzer finalist for International Reporting. I'm also the recipient of 5 SOPA awards on topics including the US-China tech war, Taiwan, and China's United Front influence operations. A Cantonese and Mandarin speaker, I've also worked as a part-time journalism lecturer at several universities.
