I am a highly motivated creative with over a decade of journalism experience which has allowed me to navigate into the world of PR. On the journalism side, I have been internationally published and currently lead Distorted Sound Magazine; a publication of my own creation. Through Distorted Sound, I have built up excellent communication skills through nurturing the relationships of PRs and my team of writers and photographers, alongside honing my writing abilities and interviewing skills. In the seven years since setting up the publication, it has grown to become highly respected and influential within the alternative/heavy music scene. In terms of the PR side of things, I currently work in PR and marketing, working for a boutique agency that specialises in B2B marketing and communications. In the two years to date I have been at the agency, I have risen up the ranks and currently have a leading role in the media relations activity for clients specialising in tech, fintech, HR, circular IT and more. Additionally, I have a hands on approach to managing client activity and creating content.
