For the past 10 years, I have been the sports editor of the award-winning News Press sports department with duties including writing, editing, photography and page design. I also worked five years with a local radio station, first as a weekly guest, then as a daily co-host for the afternoon sports talk show. Prior to my position current position as sports editor, I was a sports reporter for the News Press for two years after spending two years as a sports reporter for the Garden City Telegram after graduating from the University of Kansas.
