Claim your profileI strive to do more than just tell the news: I want to SHOW these important stories— with my words. I'm a journalist who has experience reporting on health, wellness, entertainment, and lifestyle. I've worked at USA TODAY since May 2020, starting as a Life and Entertainment intern. After one year of juggling this internship with a five course load at Georgetown University, I continued with USA TODAY as a Wellness fellow then full-time Wellness reporter, covering mental and sexual health, fitness, relationships, beauty and more. I also have a background in psychological research and am a published co-author in The Official Journal of the International Congress of Infant Studies. In all of my stories, I aim to display my unique perspective as a Korean-American. I was born into an immigrant household in the U.S. but lived in Seoul for 4 years. I am conversational in Korean and have helped transcribe interviews with BTS, the "Squid Game" cast and more.Outside of the newsroom, I enjoy acrylic painting, cooking, playing squash and watching tennis and horror movies.
