We are seeking leading experts to participate in an upcoming Global Symposium on Microplastics: The Invisible Contaminant Shaping Our Future, taking place Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. PDT. This 90-minute virtual symposium will bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, environmental scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators for a global conversation examining the growing presence of microplastics in our bodies, food, water, air, and environment. The program will explore two critical areas: • Human health implications, including exposure pathways, emerging research, and the potential connections between microplastics and disease • The future of microplastics, including advances in detection and monitoring, regulatory and testing standards, mitigation strategies, and alternatives to plastic We are currently seeking experts who can contribute scientific research, real-world case studies, policy perspectives, technological advances, or practical solutions. Relevant areas of expertise may include: • Human health and toxicology • Cardiovascular, reproductive, respiratory, or neurological health • Food safety and drinking water • Environmental science and ecosystem health • Microplastics detection and analytical testing • Public policy, regulation, and global standards • Plastic alternatives, mitigation, and emerging solutions Speakers will join a multidisciplinary panel and live audience Q&A designed to advance understanding, identify critical knowledge gaps, and explore the path forward.
