As microplastics continue to emerge as a critical environmental and public health concern, this discussion will bring together leading voices across environmental science, public health, and analytical testing to examine the latest research, real-world implications, and future directions. We are curating a panel of experts to explore topics including: * Sources and pathways of microplastic exposure (air, water, food, and soil) * Human health implications and emerging research * Environmental distribution and persistence * Gaps in regulation and testing standards * Advances in monitoring, mitigation, and alternatives to plastic * Qualitative and quantitative analysis of microplastics The event will be hosted virtually this fall (9/15) and will include a moderated panel discussion followed by audience Q&A.
