Claim your profileI am an assistant metro editor at The Seattle Times, where I lead the morning coverage of local and regional breaking and trending news. I joined the Seattle Times in March 2024, after two years of reporting on Asian American communities at the Los Angeles Times, where I won thousands of new subscribers with my stories that captured the diversity, challenges, and achievements of one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic populations in the country. With more than five years of experience in journalism, I have developed strong skills in writing, editing, reporting, and leadership. I have covered a wide range of topics, from economic mobility and inequality to culture and identity. I am fluent in Korean and English, and I have a bachelor's degree in political science from UCLA.
