Claim your profileI came to the position of producer at APTN’s Nouvelles Nationales after time as editor of the WeedWeek Canada newsletter (2018-2020), where I reported editorially independent weekly news about the minutiae of the Canadian cannabis sector. Between 2011 and 2018 I covered northern Indigenous issues for a Cree (Eeyou) audience in the Nation magazine, and from 2013 and 2023 I regularly contributed news reporting to Food Quality & Safety magazine. My freelance reporting work has appeared in a variety of print and online publications (please see below, or click my contact info for my Contently portfolio). In 2012, my first book, The Deadly Snakes: Real Rock and Roll Tonight – The Rise and Gentle Fall of Canada’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band, was published by Invisible Press. It was listed as one of the Top 10 Books of 2012 by Nightlife magazine, and as one of the Top 5 Books about the Toronto Music Scene by BlogTO.com.
