He’s presented his own radio shows, made radio documentaries, worked for English regions in various roles, worked for BBC Sport, BBC World Service, was the Communities Correspondent for BBC Look North and used his passion for broadcasting to train new recruits. He is a very confident, punctual and organised person who believes in working hard.Jhangir was also part of the BBC 2012 Olympics team working with the 2012 Communities Reporters Scheme as the Project Assistant. His roles involved in helping run the scheme and provide content for BBC outlets across the country. As the Communities Correspondent, Jhangir had to uncover and report on stories from Yorkshire’s diverse communities for BBC News’ flagship programme in the region, Look North. Around 2.5 million people watch Look North each week; that’s around half the adult population of Yorkshire. With all this experience Jhangir also is a film maker. Making films in his spare time and reporting on stories from his community.
