I'm a freelance writer working on a story for Gloria, a newsletter and website for women in midlife. I'm looking to interview women who had elective breast reduction surgery after the age of 40 (excluding gender-affirming and cancer treatment/prevention surgery). Please tell me in your reply 1) at what age you had breast reduction surgery, 2) how long ago it was, and 3) why you waited until after the age of 40 to do it. I'd also like to interview surgeons who perform breast reduction surgery to ask general questions about older women having the procedure.
