Claim your profileJournalism has been my passion since my high school years. Every time I stepped away from the field, fate has brought me back. My job is rarely the same day to day, and I cannot think of another line of work that brings me the same measure of personal reward. I've been through the changes, both good and bad, and somehow I'm still here. I've won numerous awards and I've met fascinating people -- and I'm not talking about celebrities. It's the people who shape our cities, state and nation, and it's also the folks who have unique trades or skills. It's a grind at times, much like any other job. But i also marvel at times that I get paid to do something I truly love.
