I have strong experience in breaking news, writing, editing, photography, video, design, SEO, and social media. In my years of reporting I've extensively covered crime, courts, sports, policy, local and state politics, nonprofits, small businesses, county commissions, neighborhood groups, spirituality, and education, particularly though by no means exclusively with an eye toward the LGBTQ community. In addition to two full-time positions I held at different points, I have also freelanced for the Richmond Review/Sunset Beacon, the Noe Valley Voice, the Potrero View, J. The Jewish News of Northern California. My work has also been featured in The Hill, EDGE Media Network, Philadelphia Gay News, Out in Jersey, and Out South Florida.Last year, in 2023, I won three awards from the San Francisco Press Club, including a first place for a news story in a non-daily newspaper.
