Everyone today is buzzing about storytelling as if it were the Hot New Thing. As if it hasn’t been the centerpiece of human communication since our ancestors told stories in hyroglyphs on the walls of their caves. As a health writer, I know about crafting stories that educate, inspire, and motivate positive change. I know about translating data and medical research into stories, actionable steps, and strategies that help real people make healthy choices and live better lives. I know these things because they are what I do. Really well. But don’t take my word for it. I’m a journalist at heart (and still in freelance practice).
