I host the Composites Weekly podcast, where we talk with leaders across aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing about the materials shaping what’s next. With Artemis II approaching, we’re putting together a focused episode on the composite materials enabling NASA’s return to deep space—and I’d love to include your perspective. We’re specifically exploring how materials like carbon fiber structures, ablative heat shields (like Avcoat), and composite pressure vessels are redefining what’s possible in human spaceflight. A few angles we’re digging into: What makes modern composite systems essential for lunar missions vs. legacy materials Where thermosets still dominate—and where things are evolving How aerospace-grade composites are influencing commercial and defense applications What Artemis signals for the future of composite manufacturing The format is a relaxed 20–30 minute conversation—no heavy prep required. My goal is to make this insightful and engaging for both industry professionals and a broader audience interested in space and advanced materials.
