Josie is a journalist, writer, and communicator passionate about media and connecting people with information that both informs and entertains. She grew up passionate about writing and pursued journalism at the University of Iowa, where she quickly grew through the ranks at the award-winning newspaper, The Daily Iowan. Her broad experiences there led to internships with NPR and The Denver Post. Upon her graduation, she worked for Iowa Public Radio in various roles.Josie has spent her early career considering how the media industry can break down barriers between audiences and the information they need. Along the way, she's launched and managed TikTok accounts, launched new newsletters targeting Gen Z readers, stayed on top of the latest trends in digital media, and has never stopped writing. She is an energized, enthusiastic, and optimistic creator whose work has led to innovations and progress in the spaces she occupies. Recently, Josie has begun exploring her deep love for fashion writing and communication through freelancing, a weekly Substack, and content across TikTok and Instagram.
