I make decisions based on data, help direct the news, develop new products and guide strategy. Now, I'm the managing editor of non-profit newsroom focusing on local coverage in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am passionate about building and coaching the next generation of leaders, developing and promoting people, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. I have launched and directed numerous successful projects, such as a Spanish-language product that grew from 5,500 to over 1 million visitors per year, and a drone journalism program that established best practices for an industry. I also collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute large plans for events such as the Olympics, Super Bowl, and elections.
