Hello! For Morning Brew's real estate newsletter The Playbook, I'd love to hear from real estate investors, agents, and professionals about their local market for a regular column "Housing market of the week". Here's an example so you can see how it will turn out: https://www.theplaybookmb.com/stories/sacramento-affordable-silicon-valley Here are my questions: -What are the pros and cons of investing in your market? -What advice would you have for other investors who might like to try investing in your market? -how did you get started in real estate investing? -I'd also love to hear details about any recent property you've bought, sold, or are renting out in your market (purchase price, renovation costs, sale price/rental price) along with photos (listing photos are fine with a link, or send as attachments). I'd love answers to these questions in your initial email to me, along with your email for follow up questions. While I have a preference for larger well-known markets (Austin, Tampa, New Orleans, Buffalo) or the suburbs around these markets, I'm open to any market with an interesting story and solid investment potential. Thank you! Here's the Playbook: https://www.theplaybookmb.com/

Hello! For Morning Brew's real estate newsletter The Playbook, I'd love to hear from people who've bought a home for their adult kids, or from adults whose parents bought them a home (or where parents at least contributed a huge chunk of money). What prompted this decision, and can you share any details about where/what you bought, how much it cost, any details of this financial arrangement (does the child pay parents rent?) and the challenges and rewards of this joint parent/child purchase? Please share your story, your email for follow up, plus any photos of your home and your family you'd like to share (or if you want to talk with me first before you send photos that's fine too). Thank you! Here's the Playbook: https://www.theplaybookmb.com/

Hello! For Morning Brew's real estate newsletter The Playbook, I'd love to hear from real estate investors, real estate experts, and homeowners on how the "AI boom" has sparked a "luxury home boom." If you're in San Francisco or other market where high AI salaries and bonuses have caused a surge in demand for luxury homes, I’d love to hear your stories. Has the AI boom has sparked a surge in demand for more luxury homes, and how has this played out in your everyday life and work? How have you changed your strategy to make the most of this moment, as well as the lower-income end K-shaped economy? I’d love any stories, purchases, numbers and photos you can share. Here’s more context: https://www.axios.com/2026/05/27/ai-luxury-homes-k-economy Thank you! Here's the Playbook: https://www.theplaybookmb.com/

Hello! For Morning Brew's real estate newsletter The Playbook, I'd love to hear from people/experts on the main steps to build a tiny house—what should you do first, second, etc. and where can people go to learn what to do? I'd also love a ballpark cost breakdown, what did you spend for materials, labor, foundation, electrical/plumbing, etc. Why are tiny homes so expensive for their size—it it because the fixed costs like electrical don't scal down with size? What can people do to lower the cost of building a tiny house? Please share answers to any of these questions plus your email for follow up. Thank you!
