I am a freelance writer with a focus on travel, especially adventurous and sustainable travel, climbing/hiking/outdoor adventures, off the beaten path, and food, wine, and spirits. I've been published comprehensively in Drink Me Magazine, The Wayward Post, Misadventures Magazine, Alaska Magazine, One Big World, and Transitions Abroad, among others. I have made travel a priority throughout all of my adult life and have lived for several years in the Greek islands and the last seven years mostly in the Hawaiian islands, with a few summers in Alaska thrown in. I have visited over 60 countries, 42 U.S. states, and six continents, constantly being inspired by different cultures. I spent the last two Northern hemisphere summers living and working in Denali National Park in Alaska and spent the Southern hemisphere summer in New Zealand exploring the great outdoors in a 2001 Ford Focus station wagon. I'm currently based in Southeast Asia.
