Point-of-care intestinal ultrasound (POCUS/IUS) is transforming IBD management in major academic medical centers by delivering instant, non-invasive assessment of bowel inflammation right in the exam room, eliminating the delays, cost, and patient burden of frequent endoscopy or MRI. Yet, while academic adoption accelerates, non-academic practices lag behind. I’m looking for ultrasound experts and GI docs to discuss examine the real-world feasibility of bringing bedside ultrasound into private and community GI clinics.
