I'm a writer, reporter and photographer with several years of experience in business journalism, culture writing, and communications. I'm currently a senior writer at ARTnews. Prior to that, I was the senior reporter covering the business of sustainability at Business Insider, a global finance and economics reporter at Quartz, and a Delacorte Fellow at the Columbia Journalism Review. I have a master's from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism with a concentration in business and economics. I have also been nominated for two National Magazine Awards, lived in the sub-Arctic town of Yellowknife, and speak Spanish. I specialize in business journalism, culture reporting, and research-related communications. I have strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication and organizational skills from experiences in a variety of media formats and travel to 40+ countries. I am an energetic, quick-learner who easily adapts to a variety of challenges and new people. I have a serious interest in data journalism, operations management, new languages, emerging markets, as well as issues involving sustainability, diversity, race, and culture.
