My professional experience includes team management, features editing, developmental editing, investigative editing, copy editing, research, digital marketing, social media management, copywriting, reporting, and customer service. My writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Advocate, Tenderly Magazine, BUST Magazine, Cosmopolitan, and Bitch. Here in Chicago, I volunteer as a piping plover monitor. I also served on the "Literassociates" Board of the Chicago Literary Alliance, along with volunteering at the Shedd Aquarium and with the Illinois Coalition for Refugee Rights.
