My goal is to help others through storytelling. I want to amplify voices that might not always be heard through reporting and producing. My experience working with different multimedia platforms has allowed me to tell stories with a multimedia lens. I have created, produced and edited video, audio, text and social media stories throughout my time at the University of Missouri, KSHB 41 News in Kansas City and at FOX 47 News in Lansing. In the future, I hope to work to integrate emerging social media platforms, like TikTok and Threads, into traditional newsrooms to reach new audiences. Finding ways to tell important stories in engaging ways to the audiences on different social media platforms is something I am passionate about being from the "social media generation."
