Claim your profileI’ve been informing my community since I started a family newsletter titled “Editor’s Desk” when I was in elementary school. This fondness for sharing updates through storytelling drove me to my university’s journalism department and the student newspaper, which then led to internships with local media outlets in my hometown and university town. I’m passionate about community and business journalism, with an eye toward health care and education coverage. I’ve reported on the Czech Republic’s failures in history education, the Virginia General Assembly, burnout/moral injury in the health care field, Virginia’s lack of developed industrial sites and more.
