Claim your profileA consumer-engaging content builder and storyteller, digital innovator, trusted journalist and leader of diverse global teams, I have helped launch and build digital editorial teams at ESPN, FOX Sports and Cllct Media. For more than 30 years, I have been a high-level decision-marker in some of the most fast-paced newsrooms in sports journalism. I played a key role in building ESPN Digital Media into the most successful digital sports network in the world, reaching more than 150 million unique users per month. I started at ESPN as an Associate Editor to facilitate the launch of ESPNET SportsZone in 1995 and advanced steadily to be promoted to Vice President of ESPN Digital Media in 2013. Known as a “builder and fixer,” I became a trusted resource to the company’s executive team to manage complex challenges rapidly and with limited resources. Working collaboratively, I developed the strategies; created and operationalized the road maps; acquired the talent; built and managed the teams (including journalists, reporters, and editors providing digital, video, and audio content); and launched 15+ digital businesses and hired 100+ employees in my 25 years. My global experience includes heading the digital content and managing the teams for global programming in Australia, Africa, China, Singapore, and the Philippines. Domestically, I spearheaded ESPN’s local strategy and launched sites in Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York. I was the founding editor for Page 2, ESPN’s groundbreaking humor and commentary site, which helped change how sports was covered on the Internet. Additionally, I was ESPN.com's first NFL editor and also had stints overseeing the site's home page, ESPN FC, espnW and the X Games. In building the cross-platform storytelling unit that showcased the company’s best stories and reporting, I mentored and led the teams that were nominated for seven Sports Emmys and won four. In 2020, I took on the challenge of building an editorial team at FOX Sports and relaunching the company's app and website. In nearly four years at FOX, I helped grow the company's digital reach from No. 14 in monthly uniques to as high as No. 2 in the Comscore rankings. In the spring of 2024, I joined Cllct Media, a start-up company covering the collectible and memorabilia industry.
