Claim your profileBased in Manchester for the AFP news agency, I am the senior football correspondent for the UK. I recently completed a Masters in football business and now extensively cover financial and geo-political stores concerning European football. Previously, I was based in Spain for six years covering La Liga on a daily basis. On top of my written work for AFP, I have been a regular contributor to panel shows on Real Madrid TV and on podcasts such as Second Captains and the Totally Scottish Football Show. Previously I have written on a freelance basis for The Mirror, The Independent, The Times, The Scotsman, The Herald, WhoScored.com and BT Sport. Thanks to my time covering the world's two biggest football leagues for AFP, I have had the opportunity to cover multiple World Cups, European Championships and Champions League finals.
