Claim your profileI'm a driven, skilled and experienced journalist covering nature, science and community resilience in a changing world. Currently, I'm on staff with a regional tribal communications team and producing a tribe’s monthly newsletter on a freelance basis. My work – as a staff reporter and freelance journalist – has also appeared in newspapers and digital publications throughout the Pacific Northwest. In my previous role, I established the environment beat at a daily newspaper in Western Washington. Coverage spanned from climate change and natural resource management to pollution and wildlife recovery. Topics of regional interest included conflict over hydropower dams on the Skagit River.I'm a highly organized, fast-learning and deeply engaged worker with excellent attention to detail. I'm known for crafting thorough, engaging and clean copy, and was once called an "AP style ninja."
