Kyreon is a morning news anchor at WISC in Madison, Wisconsin.Prior to moving to Madison, Kyreon spent three years at WMBD/WYZZ, a duopoly station in central Illinois.She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, with an emphasis on radio and television anchoring and reporting.With over six years of experience in the broadcast industry, Kyreon has developed strong skills in public relations, creative writing, and working under pressure. She has reported on exclusive and breaking news stories, produced and anchored full newscasts, and engaged with the audience on social media platforms. She was part of the team that won a National Edward R. Murrow award for the coverage of the 2019 tornadoes in Jefferson City and Eldon. Kyreon is passionate about telling stories that matter and making a positive impact in the community.
