Hi, I’m the Managing Editor at the San Antonio Report and a news industry leader. After spending the past decade writing — mostly about the health care industry and how it affects South Texans — I’m fortunate to be able to help shape news coverage in my city and manage staff dedicated to producing the stories that matter and holding public officials accountable. I serve on the board of the San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists and oversees the scholarship process, as well as member programs and events. I’m also the elected regional coordinator for the Society of Professional Journalists’ student and pro chapters in Texas and Oklahoma.
