I joined the NBC 10 News team as a Live Alert Desk anchor and reporter in September 2022. Originally from Long Island, I graduated from American University and the University of Southern California, where I received my Master of Science in journalism.I got my start in television news as an intern with CBS News in Washington, D.C., where I interviewed Congressman Matt Gaetz live on CBSN from Capitol Hill. By my senior year, I completed internships with the "Today" show, Instagram and CNN Health. At CNN, I published national headline stories related to the coronavirus pandemic and tracked ballot data for the 2020 presidential election. As an Instagram Local News Fellow, I worked with a local newspaper in Columbia, Missouri, to produce an IGTV video for BuzzFeed News on mental health concerns for student activists.After graduating from USC in 2021, I spent one year as a multimedia journalist in Reno, Nevada. I was boots on the ground in the Biggest Little City covering everything from the largest wildfires in California history to the kidnapping of Naomi Irion. I'm passionate about special education, telling human-driven stories and holding our public officials accountable.I am member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
