About

My work in Ukraine first as a Peace Corps Volunteer and then as a journalist has inspired me to build a career focused and centered around Ukraine. I am currently the business editor at Ukraine's leading English-language newspaper the Kyiv Independent. My main task right now is developing our business coverage, which is an important topic, even in the middle of a full-scale war. I work with an incredible team here in Kyiv and consider myself lucky to have landed this job opportunity. In May 2021, I completed a master's degree Columbia University's Harriman Institute for Eastern European and Eurasian studies where I focus on Ukrainian studies and learning Ukrainian.
