I am an international journalist and writer based in London. I currently cover the financial markets specialising in European pharma, biotech and other health-related stocks, as well as broader health topics, for Bloomberg. I previously wrote about business trends for the International Herald Tribune and travel pieces for the New York Times. I have worked as a journalist in Australia, Asia, Europe and America, and my stories have been followed by other news outlets including the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and Reuters. I regularly collaborate with colleagues all over the world and mentor younger reporters. Before switching to full-time journalism, I was a freelance writer, editor and project coordinator. I ran arts, media and literary projects and workshops for young people in Australia, interviewed artists and wrote theatre, dance, opera and gallery reviews for several online publications. I also edited my high school and university newspapers before becoming section editor for a national youth media website, performed spoken word and wrote plays. My literary writing has appeared in various publications.
