I would like to discuss how clinicians can help transplant patients adjust to feelings of fear of organ rejection, anxiety, and guilt; how to manage the burden of posttransplant care while having gratitude for a transplant; between nutrition, fear of allograft rejection, and immunosuppressant side effects, how do you help patients navigate a conflict of emotions that takes a mental toll during the post transplant transition?
