Claim your profileLiz has experience of working across the national press from the Daily Telegraph to the Sunday Times. She is night news editing at The Sunday Telegraph. Liz is the former night news editor of the Daily Express, where alongside her role she successfully changed the law through the award-winning End This Injustice campaign that led the Government to pledge to overhaul the Family Court through the Domestic Abuse Bill. It led her to offer advice in a compliance webinar to the financial industry in Dubai on domestic abuse. She was also named Sports Journalist of the Year after she wrote an exclusive around claims of sexism and misogyny in the Welsh Rugby Union in the Daily Mail and also won Journalism of the Year for her work. Liz is also a regular contributor on Times Radio and is multi award-winning.As an alumna of the University of Oxford’s Said Business School, she graduated with a postgraduate diploma in executive organisational leadership, which focused on #strategy, #culture, #resilience, merger and acquisitions and #strategicleadership of organisations and focused her thesis on the ever-changing world of the media.She is previously the defence reporter for the South Wales Evening Post/Wales Online where she regularly reported from Afghanistan between 2008 and 2014. During her reporting stints in Helmand Province, she spent time on the ground in Garmsir with 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards (the Welsh Cavalry) in December 2008, compiling video footage, taking photographs, writing stories and blogging about her experiences.Liz was also elected as a chapter leader of the Oxford Business Alumni Network in London, leading her to single-handedly organise events at Blenheim Palace and the Houses of Parliament. She is also a member of European Women on Boards and Women In Journalism.
