Claim your profileI am a Deputy News Editor at The Athletic where I help guide the company's breaking news output, primarily with regards to football/soccer but also the Olympics and other sports. Since joining The Athletic in the summer of 2020, I have worked in several roles within the newsroom, each with more responsibility, and was part of the team on the ground at the men's World Cup in Qatar in 2022. I enjoy working in a fast-paced breaking news environment for a company that holds itself to high journalistic standards. Though football is my passion, I particularly enjoy working on stories where sports overlap with politics and global affairs. I have also been a regular guest/host on The Athletic's Chelsea FC podcast, Straight Outta Cobham, since August 2023.
