My work has been recognized by Investigative Reporters & Editors, the Society of Professional Journalists and Poynter Report. I have earned first place awards and honorable mentions in IRE, SPJ, EPPY and the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing 2019 & 2020 student media awards. I have reported on and written several breaking, feature and investigative stories on a wide range of topics. Over a nine-month period I spent at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, I was part of a team of student reporters that reported on Homeland Security Investigations. Our investigations were published in part on the AP wire and picked up by news organizations around the world. Many of my articles appeared on the front pages of The Arizona Republic, The Modesto Bee and The Tribune. I am also a passionate photographer and love to capture the beauty of the world around me.
