Claim your profileI’m an editor, writer and entrepreneur with a 20-year track record of creating award-winning, multi-platform content for a diverse range of publications and companies. I currently work as co Editor-in-Chief of The Hollywood Reporter, and previously served as a top editor at New York Magazine, Los Angeles, Interview and Talk. I’ve also launched and edited four trailblazing start-ups—Radaronline, TheFix.com, NYQ and Punch!—that have collectively won 12 ASME nominations, 19 Webbys and an Emmy. In 2010 I started a consulting firm, Awesome Projects, that produces innovative editorial and marketing campaigns and events for companies from Snapchat to BMW, and launched a succesful series of recovery-themed e-books for Barnes and Noble. Most recently, I spent four years as Editor-in-Chief of Los Angeles magazine, where I boosted web traffic by 400% and was credited by the LA Times with “bringing buzz and relevance to a long-sleepy city mag.”I’ve also reported on pop culture, politics, business, fashion and tech for The New York Times, The Daily Beast, New York, Town and Country, The Huffington Post, Slate, The New Republic, Harper’s and Harper's Bazaar.
