I am an investigator and freelance journalist reporting on inequity. I dig into the details of how policies impact people and what people are doing to build more just communities. I was born and raised in San Francisco and now live in Oakland. I believe in reporting for a community instead of just about. I graduated in December 2016 from Northwestern University with a master's in journalism and a concentration in social justice reporting. Since then I have reported on local, national, and international news using text and audio.
