Claim your profileMark Nieto has a wide range of experience in the world of media - including film and television post-production, journalism, podcasting, and radio. This background, combined with his skills as a researcher and music composer enables him to apply his creativity towards projects that align with his values on social justice.Through his ongoing musical project, COMBAT!, he explores themes of belonging and identity. Mark has produced music for other artists as well as for film, theater, and installation works. In 2016, he released his self-titled album on the Los Angeles-based record label, Friends of Friends, and has performed across North America and Europe.In 2021, he obtained a master’s of Research Architecture from Goldsmiths University of London. His dissertation documented practices of exclusion inflicted on asylum seekers by the United States’ government. Alongside his work, Mark is an avid runner, hiker, and loves spending time outdoors. He hosts the Never Not Run Podcast with actor and comedian, Chris Candy, where they interview runners from all walks of life asking the question, “What’s your runner’s high?”
