I am a community healthcare professional based in Auckland, New Zealand, specializing in disability support work, hospital-based palliative care, advocacy communications, and administration. I was previously a Senior Communications Officer at COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises, where I managed a diverse list of accounts (Sony, World Vision, WWF, Lenovo, Essilor, etc.) for their communications campaigns. By overseeing various projects of the company and its clients, apart from spearheading several advocacy assignments that include a mentorship program for interns, an online Southeast Asian news publication, and multiple corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, my work has garnered 25+ industry awards from award-giving bodies in the Asia-Pacific region.This passion for advocacy has led me to a career in community development in the healthcare setting. Currently, I am part of Spectrum Care as a Community Support Worker, where I design and implement individualized service programs focused on fostering independence, social inclusion, and achievement of life aspirations for disabled individuals while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address holistic well-being needs.Outside of work, I am a pop culture writer for multiple print and online news publications such as PhilSTAR Life, Art Plus Magazine, and Film Geek Guy.
