Cooperation with African governments, private sector, diaspora entrepreneurs, and civil society on challenges including food vs. fuel, water, sustainability standards, sustainable transportation and green mobility, post-harvest losses, and landgrabbing. Worked with academia to ensure science was included in policymaking discussions. Developed model for EnergyCommunities and EnergyIslands, creating circular economies with a focus on waste-to-energy, water collection and recycling, and resource efficiency in agriculture, food processing, industrial parks and communities as Managing Director of PlanetEnergy.
